effective management in further education

Funding
We provide a range of both on and off-site services designed to meet the funding related needs of a wide range of organisations involved with further education and skills training in England. In many cases these services can be tailored to ensure that the optimum focus is maintained and therefore the maximum benefit derived.

We cover all aspects of funding policy and procedures set by the Skills Funding Agency and Young People's Learning Agency.

The funding methodology has a huge impact on all aspects of Further Education. It is crucial that all staff have an understanding of its operation to ensure that the curriculum is planned, managed and tracked in the most effective and efficient way.

All sessions are led by Edward Drake or Phil Neath, former senior managers in FE with recognised expertise in FE funding issues. Our previous clients cover the whole spectrum of FE organisations including general FE, tertiary, specialist and sixth form colleges, plus training providers, HEI's, EI's, awarding bodies and auditors.

The cost of a one day on-site course is less than the cost of sending only 4 delegates to a typical conference style event (half days or multiple days subject to negotiation). For full details please see our standard charges (pdf).
